Don’t forget tomorrow is the last day to RSVP for the Blue Shield Australia Disaster Recovery Workshop being held at the Museum of Tropical Queensland (Qld Museum) in Townsville on May 16. The aim of these interactive workshops is to :
- provide a formal framework and mechanisms for sharing disaster management expertise and resources between regional cultural organisations
- enhance community based disaster preparedness and response through the development and promotion of local disaster networks
- build resilience in regional cultural heritage preservation
